About ESMA
Esma is a silver jewellery house, founded in 2020 and known for its distinctive designs and careful curation. Every piece is handcrafted in 925 sterling silver by skilled artisans across India, and every design is personally curated by our founder — a process that holds the entire collection to a single standard. We make jewellery rooted in South Indian sensibility, designed not for occasion alone, but for the everyday rituals in between.
Meet Our Founder:
Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, Sireesha Grandhi was always inspired to carve her own path. After completing her MBA, she explored various creative avenues in search of her true calling.
In 2015, a move to vibrant Mumbai introduced her to the city’s bustling jewellery scene and ignited her passion for design. This journey led her to establish ESMA, a brand rooted in artistry and authenticity. A serendipitous trip to Jaipur in 2019 deepened her connection to jewellery, as she discovered the timeless beauty of silver and the unmatched skill of local karigars.
Driven by a vision to create pieces that celebrate tradition while empowering artisans, Sireesha continues to design jewellery that is both stunning and meaningful. Her story is a testament to finding beauty in unexpected places and transforming it into a dream that shines for many.
Meet Our Co-Founder:
While Sireesha shaped ESMA's artistry, Hyndav Grandhi brought the foundation to build it upon. After a 14-year career in corporate banking — most recently with a global MNC bank — he stepped away from the world of finance to help transform a labour of love into a lasting house of jewellery.
As Co-Founder, Hyndav leads ESMA's operations, digital strategy, and financial planning — the quiet structure behind the craft. Under his stewardship, the brand has grown from an online studio and exhibition circuit into a full retail presence, opening its first Experience Center in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
Where Sireesha brings creativity, Hyndav brings discipline — and together they balance instinct with intent. A devoted father and an adventurer at heart, he believes the best brands, like the best journeys, are built on trust, curiosity, and the courage to begin.
